Profs. Choice is a project that a group and I worked together to create. This was a concept we came up with to create a cafe within the Herron building, the idea was that the cafe would have very little social interaction so that students could quickly pick up food on their way to class without waiting. This would work by the student ordering on the Prof choice app and picking it up when the app showed that their order was ready. We were concerned about losing the personal touch when eliminating the interaction, so we added a feature that advertises professors from around the schools favorite order and every week a different professor is the weekly special. The weekly special shows the professor, their most common order from the cafe and with every purchase of that special a donation is made to a charity or foundation of their choice.
